what to do with 40 cats? some will come to you and most will not. she feed them everyday and that costs her a lot of money. we asked the local pet controller and she told my mother to shot them!! my mom loves animal to much. what option does she have with little money and a whole lot of cats?

WOW thats a lot of cats!…put an add in the newspaper.. since she dont have a lot of money.. i would put them on sale but for a cheap price so they will sale… she doesnt have to sale all of them jus enough so she can manage… either newspaper or a flyer.. anyway best way is to sale them watever way u can.. 5 dollars each (if ure keeping about 2 cats) would come out to $ 190!… good luck..

  1. you need to understand that without them being spay and neutered the number will continue to grow. this was a very irresponsible move on her part. i have a hard time believing this could not have been controlled before it got to over 40. i would suggest putting up some flyers around town and so on and trying to find good homes for them.

  2. i thought old people liked wheel of fortune
always have your pets spayed or neutered

quit feeding them outside cats should eat mice that is why you put them outside to begin with
if she loved them that much they would be inside pets that have been fixed
    just shoot them

  3. any one who says shoot them, needs to grow up and get a life it is not the animals fault. First call your local shelter and tell them the situation and tell them you would like to find out about low-income neuter and spay, if they will not help you then call your local vets. yes put an add in the paper I would not charge because your chances would increase greatly if they are free. if still no luck e-mail me and I am sure we can figure out something safe for these kitties
